Excellent quail hunting
combined with fine dining sets us apart
Fine dining, European-style,
combined with extraordinary
quail hunting
is something else that sets Rio Piedra apart
from other wingshooting plantations. Our chef, Dirk Flachsmeir, is a product of European Culinary schools and a veteran of many clubs and fine dining establishments in the U.S. Dishes range from elegant
cuisine, such as pecan crusted grouper, served
with exquisite wine by candlelight to delicious
grilled sandwiches prepared in the open air
on a deck with the river lapping on the pilings
below.
Guests refer to the evening fare as "relaxed 5-star dining".
Elegant
deserts finish off a day of extraordinary quail
hunting.
After a
morning of
quail hunting, hearty appetites are
satisfied with savory al fresco fare.
